Gator bluefish on the southside! Trolling in the Osterville/Hyannis/Cotuit bays could get you into nice fight with these toothy fish. People were also catching from the beaches on the Sound. South Cape has been a preferred spot. SP Minnow and Yo-zuri Hydro Minnow LC specifically have been working well.

Big scup from shore on the Southside. We have the local squid in stock to catch those dinner plate sized porgies. Scotty is here with a nice scup!

Stripers are picking up in the rips of Nantucket Sound. Chris (pictured below) had an epic morning fishing Succonnesset. All of the fish were slot and bigger. No takers on the top water, but metals like kastmasters and anything silver were doing the trick.

We have been hearing lots of customers talking about how the canal was bursting with keeper an bigger sized tautog. Anglers were flipping over rock and getting their own crabs for bait and getting tog after tog on the drop.

Black Sea bass is a great option in the sound. You can fish 30' of water, but will likely throw back most of the fish caught due to being too small. If you fish a little deeper water, like 50+ feet you will have much better luck in limiting out, jigging off the bottom.

The winter flounder bite is still going strong in 35+ feet of water for the boats leaving out of Barnstable and Sesuit harbors. Flounder rigs tipped with seaworms are the working formula.

Stripers on the Northside are not disappointing. Some anglers are having success finding the mackerel in 40' of water and live lining.

Tony has been having great luck in Lake Wequaquet on the largemouth bass bite. Rapala Original Floaters are doing the trick.

Tight lines!
